Laura: Remember, you're taking Katy to her concert. Adam: This is great! I love the Allman Brothers. Laura: Well...Unfortunately, it's the Jonas brothers. Adam: Who? Laura: Your daughter's favorite band. Adam: My daughter's favorite band is the Rolling Stones. Laura: That's your favorite band. And you make us listen to them all the time. Adam: Well, forgive me for trying to support our senior citizens.

An Allman Brother, or a Rolling Stone is a musician who appealed to a broad range of listeners and not just pre-teen girls. They also have existed for 30-40 years as musicians and still draw large crowds when they perform.

The Allman Brothers Band is a musical group that was started by Duane and Gregg Allman, and continued after Duane’s death. Gregg has been a part of every iteration of the group, along with Butch Trucks. Dickey Betts and Jai Johanny “Jaimoe” Johnson are considered to be the other remaining original members, but Betts has since left the band, and Johnson was not part of the band in the early 80’s.
As for the Rolling Stones… they’re the guys who played at the Super Bowl on a stage that looked a lot like a pair of lips with a tongue stuck out.
Far better than the Jonas Brothers, musically speaking, but even in their heyday, when younger audiences were still their main target, they appealed more to the rock scene than the pop scene.

Gimme the Stones the Allman Bros,, the Moody Blues, Paul McCartney, the Eagles etc etc, any day. Let’s see if the Jonas Bros will be still rocking’ 30 - 40 years from now. I seriously doubt it.
