Laura: The news said the weather this weekend is supposed to be nice. Adam: I love nice weather. Laura: It might be a good time to tackle some of those projects we've been putting off. Adam: Is "snuggling" considered a project? Laura: Seriously, what do you have planned? Adam: Just a marathon of amazing Wesley Snipes movies and numerous "unmissable" sporting events. Laura: Adam, please. That's ridiculous. Adam: You're right...calling any Wesley Snipes movies "amazing" might be an overstatement.

haha … I have to agree w/ Adam … Wesley Snipes isn’t the best actor out there …

I like how my aunt handled my uncle. She had a honey-do-list of electrical things needing done (he was an union electrician) and after the list was 2 months old she called out to the union hall and asked for someone off the books needing a few days work. After my uncle paid the other guy one of his paychecks…he got the point of never putting off Aunt Sue’s lists.

Nothing would spoil a weekend faster than spending all of it on one of those boring projects. Why not divvy it up some, plan something fun for after the work’s done. A nice dinner out maybe?

I would love it if my husband suggested snuggling as a weekend activity - even if it meant enduring a Wesley Snipes movies!

maybe laura should pick up the phone and make a fake call to a local handy man to come look at some of those projects to get an estimate of the cost for getting those projects done

I’m not familiar with Wesley Snipes movies. Though contextual I think the joke is still funny.

An excellent job of evading the original question!

Adam needs a wife like me. Movies and sports are never ridiculous. Why waste a great weekend on chores?

Fool me twice, shame on you again!” syn Patsy; Dupe; Sap; Rube; Mark; Pigeon; Barnum-Bait.

Lonewolf, maybe, but it may be pointing out that they have put off private time in their endeavor to be good parents and earn a good living. What woman wouldn’t be charmed that that was his first thought? A good snuggle would be a great energy boost to getting the chores done, especially with the prospect of whatever movie marathon could be planned for after . It is a win for each of them, and for them as a couple. I love it!
