Maybe he gets zapped because the kids wake him way too early! I don’t function well first thing in the morning either.

They should be the ones getting zapped from waking him up!

Isn’t it a school day? And why are they bugging him to hang the lights first thing in the morning?

ushindi, did you ever venture into the ‘hardy boys’ series?— I read and reread those things…..a tradition I carry on today, I wouldn’t think of tossing out a good read….rereading a good book is like visiting an old friend,

    but that’s just me

    or: ya know?

    Boy, it’s windy out today…

nighthawks: Had to laugh - yes, Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, Trixie Belden, the Penrod books, Little Women, The Bobbsey Twins, ALL that stuff. I still have my Tarzan, Tom Swift, Zane Grey and Penrod, but the others have disappeared somewhere in the passage of the years. I read everything I could get my hands on as you can tell. My parents never bought a TV until I was twelve, so my reading habits were well established. Tom Sawyer, The Secret Garden, Huckleberry Finn, King of the Khyber Rifles, on and on…
