Adam: Clayton, can I help you with your homework? Clayton: What do you know about geology? Adam: I know that geology is the study of rocks. Clayton: Duh. Adam: And that any conversation about rock has to start with the three basic legends. Clayton: Legends? Geology is all fact. Adam: There's Muddy Waters, Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry.

Don’t some of you have anything better to do?

He is close, at least they are the same age.

No, not really, Dry. But it’s only 10:00 AM here, so it’s still early. It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day in the City by the Bay, so I might head out to Haight Street, do some book and music shopping, walk in Golden Gate Park, get some fresh air…
I’m going to “Shutter Island” later, but my friend isn’t off work until 7:00 in the evening. So I’ve got PLENTY of time to kill.
Thanks for your concern, though…

(This is going back a ways, but…) @LuvH8, thank you for that list - I was wondering about those guys!

Clayton will enjoy Adam’s version of “Geology” much better, however, it won’t do him any good in school. Not until he’s in Jr. High or has his own band anyway.

Good for you * fritzoid*, no concern, just commenting like everyone else. I hear San Francisco is a beautiful city!

It is, Dry, it is. If you’re ever in the area, let me know.
Coming back from the Haight, I ran into a couple of gals headed to a “Brides of March” event down by Union Square. Picture dozens of young women in wedding dresses getting drunk off their asses on mojitos. If I didn’t have other plans, I would have tagged along…
(“Shutter Island” has been postponed, though…)

fritzoid I love Mojitos but don’t think I could get into the rest of it! It would be a hoot to watch though! LOL! Would certainly make interesting YouTube video!

Muddy Waters and Jerry Lee Lewis predate the Stones & Beatles significantly – indeed, without all three that Adam names, there would never have been the Rolling Stones or The Beatles. Thus, he is correct.

I haven’t read this strip since it was Baby Blues- Adam has really porked up.
“Adam” and “Baby Blues” have never been affiliated with one another, and do not share continuity. “Adam” was created in 1984 by Brian Basset, who handed the reins over to “Big Top” creator Rob Harrell about 13 months ago, to focus his attention on “Red and Rover.” “Baby Blues” was created by Rick Kirkman and Jerry Scott in January, 1990, and they still write & draw it for King Featues.
The “Baby Blues” home page is at http://www.kingfeatures.com/features/comics/babyblue/about.htm.

It’s hard to imagine the remarks of this site’s users getting any more childish than the ones I had to remove from this page. A great many of you need to grow up.
