Man, I love the streak of absurdity this strip’s acquired since it changed hands. It’s really breathed new life into the thing.

Amen. I was not a fan of the art at the beginning, but it’s gotten better in my opinion and now seems natural. And the writing has been better since the switch.

I would like to see how many bees it would take to carry away Adam.

Strawberries, bananas, pineapple, plain yogurt, orange juice and Meyer’s rum. Health and a buzz all in one glass.

What household in America doesn’t have a blender already?

Adam, smoothies are FATTENING, and you are not exactly in need of fattening.

Mrs. Luke Skywalker - what’s so fattening about frozen fruit and juice? My kids love them and they make a much healthier dessert than sweets.

I had a smoothie once that was made from just frozen raspberries. No other ingredients added. It was delicious.

Whole fruit is good for you whether is is blended into a smoothie or eaten in its natural state.

Fruit isn’t fattening??? Maybe if you’re still a chiild it isn’t. It takes more than one piece of fruit to make a smoothie, and sorry, but fruit IS fattening, especially in numbers. It does have sugar in it (fructose), and I’ve never seen a smoothie in anything smaller than a 16 oz. cup. I didn’t say they aren’t good, but I’d check the calories on your next one if I were you, and the ingredients if you aren’t getting it at that raspberries only place, because they usually have more than just fruit in them. People look at them as a drink, not a dessert. I see people washing down desserts with 1200 calorie smoothies, thinking it’s healthier than soda or a milk shake made with ice milk, which they aren’t. If you don’t know this, I see why the country has such weight problems. If you can manage that and still be thin, God bless you people and your high metabolisms! Adam doesn’t look like he has one, and he’s who I was talking to. I was talking to a cartoon man, but I’m happy to refute the criticism of my comment.
