Adam: That's pretty broad... Like a "good" movie party? Or a "lowest common denominator" party? Film as a sociological artifact, or as sheer brainless entertainment? What era of film are we talking about? Katy: What's wrong with dad, and why is he wearing a beret? Adam: Mom says he's having a film school flashback.

I like that he’s still talking to himself in the last panel. No one else will indulge him, or his beret.
