True story: in 8th grade, we had career day. Business people did not come to us. We went in small groups TO the business. Each kid got to choose which group they wanted to join.I was home sick on the day we signed up. So, the only opening for me was… the local slaughterhouse. We saw a pig slaughtered and watched the butchering. I was the only girl present. Luckily, I had a strong stomach. Some of the guys didn’t.
