Adam: Okay, gumbo. We need to write a news later today. This will require laser-like focus on both of our parts. No Facebooking. No Youtube. No chasing the tennis ball. No barking at the mailman. No Twitter or Reddit. No digging in the yard. But I'll make you a deal. If we work straight through it to 11am, we get a treat. A milk bone and a belly rub for you. A chocolate pop-tart for me. Okay, break on three. Laura: Staff meeting? Adam: You mock, but they've really improved company morale.

Shucks! I’ll bet Gumbo was really looking forward to some Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Reddit time.

Just make sure those Milk Bones aren’t made in China!

Adam has it right. Work expands to fit the time allotted. Have a deadline. With a nice reward – but I would go for a warm chocolate brownie (with nuts, of course).

Darn…It’s lunch time, and I need to get something to eat.(looking in the refrigerator), “Nuts, nothing looks good! I might need to make some popcorn! Now, where is that package of Orville’s?”

I appreciate the text itself, no links to bother with. If the recipe doesn’t appeal to me, I just scroll past it. If it does, only one tab to worry about. Thanks Alexikakos for your hard work, link or no link.

I love that he references Reddit from time to time… Rob stays pretty current!
