Good thing he’s not a cartoonist; the translation of the mental image to the paper image is probably a really slow step.

Writing is hard work. I had to help write (with a pro tech writer) an instruction/maintenance manual for a commercial “box”. I was quite familiar with the product but getting simple (to me) how to procedures down on paper was a bear.

If watering and sunlight don’t work… ignore him. Some plants do their best work (blooming) if ignored. Something about the stress.
