Adam: Today's a novel day. Katy: You think so? In what way? Adam: No. I mean I'm going to work on my novel. Are you okay if I lock myself away in my office for the day and make a "creativity cocoon"? Laura: Sure. That's fine. Adam: Okay, good. I've put a pitcher of water and a thermos of coffee in there. And I've asked the kids to slide a snack under the door every two hours. They'll have to stick to the thinner foods. Pancakes...thin-crust pizza. Laura: Or you could open the door. Adam: I don't think she's grasping the "creative cocoon" concept. Clayton: I flattened that bag of cheetos like you asked.
