For construction materials we used whatever we could find, from old pallets to cardboard appliance boxes
When it grew to cover the space between our house and the neighbors, our parents made us tear it down

Good idea, Clayton. Now, what to build the tree out of? Wood is a good choice but termites might get to it. How about aluminum? A strong but light substance that won’t rust. And you could call your tree house “Festivus”.
What about that really tall one with no limbs and all the wires attached to it?
