Why stop there, Katy? You can watch “Die Hard” on so many platforms. Disconnect and hide the router. Disconnect the landline (dial-up you know). Turn on the Cell Phone jammer. And turn on the WiFi jammer (your neighbor’s unsecured WiFi is too tempting).
Please note that the use of jammers is illegal in the US.
Who even tries to do serious work mid-holidays week. I mean really. Just glide and keep thing rolling. No one worth knowing expects big things right after New Years.
