I shared this sentiment at a Klan rally in Jasper. We had formed a police line between them and citizens protesting them. I was asked why was I protecting them while they shouted their racial hatred. I replied why are you giving them an audience. He stopped….and understood. He lead his side over to park where all celebrated friendship. All that was left was 15 Klan and my police line of 150. The Klan shut it all down and wandered off. Keep an eye on them but don’t give them an audience.
