Change is normal, what was “normal” before becomes bizarre later. At one time it was “normal” to be wed close to puberty, it was “normal” to own a riding crop, and it was “normal” to expect good times and bad times both.
Asking questions allows a poisonous seed of disinformation to be planted without taking responsibility for its content. I suppose it also passes a fact check if it isn’t claiming any facts to be true, simply requesting more information.
Watch “the social dilemma” on Netflix. It’s a chilling, eye-opening documents on social media, addictions thereto, and, worst of all, how it’s subliminal, emotional appeal is making mindless lemmings out of almost a whole generation that will not be able to tell truth from fakery. I’m 76 and expect a good 20+ years left. I just hope the brakes are put on this disturbing trend before I leave this planet.
