A man was making his 11th appearance in front of a local judge for public intoxication.
Judge: Mr. Thompson… Greg. What are we going to do with you?
Plaintiff: I’m a dishgrace yer honor. Jusht a mesh.
Thompson was drunk even now. And everyone in the court knew what would happen next. The judge would once again sentence him to him to 30 days in the county jail, and it wouldn’t do any good. It never had before.
Judge; It is the judgment of this court that you be taking forthwith to a place of execution where you will be hung by the neck until you are dead. And may God have mercy on your soul.
The plaintiff stared at him in shock and horror, now completely sober.
Judge; Not really. But it is something for you to think about.

Tickets double if you dare to dispute them: they just add “court costs” to the original fine.
