When someone would stop and ask ‘where Len’s Cove’ (resort park) was, I’d say keep turning left. That seemed too simple for most people, so I’d have to say, next road, turn left, then the next road you come to, turn left, and then at the next road, turn left and you’re there… this was before the electronic age..
When the employee points to the item and it’s right in front of me I always chuckle and say, “The old plain sight trick.” I figure that mentioning “The Purloined Letter” wouldn’t be appropriate.

That happens to me when I look for something too, but it is because I am so excited to actually find an employee I get distracted from my search.

If they’re a jerk, it’s hard not to laugh at them
