We’re they lemon bars? Lemon bars are the best

Change the locks (and keep them for when you move again) or add some highly secure ones. If the manager complains you may always ask how he would know – with your most innocent facial expression, of course.

So – don’t giggle.

It’s time to get hidden cameras installed. That way, when the manager steals something, you have proof and the owner can either pay you a lot of money or, you get to live there rent free for as long as you want. The judge can ask the owner what he wants to do. And no entering without your permission.

When I lived in apartments, the problem was generally FINDING the manager (to get something repaired). You have one who actually can be found on the property?

OK, some of the property managers were OK, did the job, could be contacted. They were the minority. The others would never be caught dead in an apartment, for fear of actually seeing the problems they refuse to admit exist.

I never encountered one who would ever DREAM of entering an apartment illegally – they had friends for that (and plausible deniability).

I don’t know why I thought that says entertains. I feel silly now it says entering.
