Really? They stare at you at the store when you do that?

No tiny wireless headsets for phones around where you live?

Those other people do that, too. They just don’t let anybody know about it because they don’t want anybody to know that they can’t draw a comic like you can.

When people stare at me when I’m talking to myself, I just tell them that I’m consulting with the expert. Who is also me.

As my grandmother use to say, “Of course I talk to myself! It’s the most intelligent conversation I have all day!”

Crazy or genius, I love your conversations with alter egos. I only curse at myself out loud….not appreciated in the store.

I’ve always figured:You can talk to yourself. That’s OK.You can answer yourself. That’s OK, too.But when you start arguing with yourself there’s trouble.

Exposing others to your incoherent inner monologue is art. It’s living the Joycean dream. :-)

I’m married to this. I call it Tourette’s, but I’m being mean. Mostly…

It may be sad, but it’s genius-level sad, which carries a lot more prestige than your run-of-the-mill sad.

I talk to myself all the time. I’m the only one who can figure out what I’m talking about.

Some new hearing aids will turn into Bluetooth receivers with the touch of a button. I jokingly tell my patients they can join the grand group of people who look like they’re talking to themselves.

I’m binge reading this. Sometimes I just have to say “ I knew it!”
