Amanda, I am confused. You are packing for ‘us’ to go to Billings, in the first panel. in the second you are asking when ‘your flight’ goes from Billings. Your reply is, ‘I wish I could go with you.’ Dan is not paying attention when he says ‘We can’t let them run our lives.’ Obviously he has not been paying attention. From the minute a new pet is picked up, your life revolves around the new pet especially puppies and kittens.

You probably could have gotten somebody to take care of both kitties while were gone. They might have even gotten to like each other.

I’m guessing that, at least at that time, Dan didn’t know cats very well.
