I don’t know when I’m going to get around to writing the next installment of my life’s tale. It has reached a difficult time in my life. We are just back from Panama and my parents have divorced. My father has taken a job in and moved to San Diego. My mother is remarried to an Army officer and we have taken up residence in Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio. My new stepfather is a prince of a guy but he is no substitute for my actual father. The year is 1942. More later. (Looks like I just wrote the next installment.) 9/15/16

Now that the Village has come back to life I will consider continuing my tale of my past. But first I would like to try to get one or two more past participants back on board.
I happened to pop back into Bloom County and saw your link here (which I’ve lost in my bookmarks twice now….weird, and maybe it even means something……), so I’m popping back in here to say hi to anybody who reads this.
@Number Six
The talk in Bloom County today about “The Prisoner” had me thinking about you and hoping you were well. I wish you could still post your Oscar and Wildes and your Mad Capps in here!
“Tis’ the season to be ill. Tra-La-La-La-La-La-La-La-La”
But apart from my cold, I had an amazing Christmas. I hope everybody else did too. My presents were an Elizabeth Arden perfume and Perfumed Body Lotion set from my former next door neighbours and an Audrey Hepburn set consisting of Body Lotion, Shower Creme and perfume from my parents (I saw it in the shop and fell in love with it)
Do any of you Villagers have dentist fears? Even since I had teeth out, I’ve always been a little bit shaky in going for a check up. Luckily I have a really cool dentist (Didn’t think he was so cool when he was injecting my gums with anaesthetic!)
Nevertheless. This song by Owl City about dentists is awesome.
I went for my routine blood pressure check today and my first reading was 150/100. I nearly passed out when it came up on the monitor. Didn’t expect it to be that high.
Luckily my second reading was better. 141/80. It was a warm day today. Maybe that’s why.
The nurses at my GP are always changing. Some of them just leave and some of them get moved on. It’s very annoying because it means some people have to go through all their medication and medical history to a different nurse each time.

I would recommend Port Meirion to any overseas visitors rather than London or any big city.

That’s better….. nothing worse than an empty room at a party.

I used to love to post random, but interesting pictures and links here. I hate that it’s not possible anymore.
Do you think that the Village will even still be accessible in January, when the “NEW and IMPROVED” GoComics will be up and running?
StelBel about 8 years ago
(note to self: Stel, it’s “will EVEN be accessible” OR “will STILL be accessible”……not “will even still be accessible”. Get it right!)
Excuse me while I act like the ‘Grammar Police’ to myself!

Two days in a row! This must be a record for me!
Number Six, we shall soon see if your theory is correct!

I have come down with a terrible cold. The good news is that I should be over it by Christmas.
Fan o’ Lio. about 8 years ago
This cold is the worst one I’ve had in years. It’s probably going to keep me out of action for another day or two at least.

Well, Villagers I begin my new (and first) job on 3rd January.
I’m a Receptionist/Admin Assistant.
Can’t wait to start.

Has anyone heard from FANOLIO?

I downloaded the “Google Santa Tracker” on my phone today. He’s currently in Sur, Oman. It’s in the Middle East.
Yeah. I need to get a life but who doesn’t nowdays?

I’m back, temporarily at least. This was the worst I’ve felt in years. Not since my lat trip to Scotland in 2013. I just hope I’m back to stay.

Regarding visits to the dentist take a look at yesterday’s Cleo and Company.

Does this happen with anyone else?

I don’t visit here as often as I used to…. nobody responded.
