I used to watch Bugs Bunny and many other characters such as Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner, Mr. Fudd, Sam, Taz on the TV when I was kid. Nowadays, I noticed these cartoon characters were not on the TV anymore. I had enjoyed watching them on the TV so I could remember them as a treasure.
No, according to a friend of mine in the know, the reason you don’t see Looney Toons on tv anymore, ( or Woody Woodpecker or Popeye, ) is coz a gang of suits bought up all the rights and then jacked the price up through the stratosphere. That’s why you can’t watch WB cartoons for free any more. You can however find them on DVD…if yer willing to shell out 40 bucks a disk.
char32, I disagree with your statement that todays cartoons have more detail, the artwork today is crummy! In fact it isn’t even art. The old cartoons were drawn magnificently! So much detail you could see the cracks in the floor!

Obviously they’re not drinking tequila.
Enough of shots o’ Cuervo and you think YOU can fall off a cliff, get hit by boulders and walk away clean.
