Sounds resonable to me… 10 pounds = a wager + a few pints… and it’s as close to working as Andy gets.

What that man won’t do for beer! You know he’s gonna take that ten pounds and go down to the pub and he’ll tell everyone what he had to say to get it!

Yea not worth to have thousand pounds I was just kidding to make silly comment for that comic strip. :-)

It would really depend on the personality of the mother-in-law.

Lewreader, sure he will! He’ll whine that he had to tell his mother in law she was pretty and all his friends will sympathize and buy him pints!
