    Simple solution. Don’t come home.

Beating him senseless with a 2 x 4 would be an excellent solution.

Wicky: Yes, let him sleep a very long time.

I can think of more interesting ways to let him know you’re home than simply shouting it. Wicky’s answer is a good one.

Hey Reocares, I thought she went to work sick…bad cold or something….just so she could be sure to have enough money to give him to go to the pub and play darts. If he loses she may have to work a double shift tomorrow so he’ll have enough to go again.

Yeah, Wicky….a 2 x 4 would do the job but a baseball bat is so much easier to swing.

I got to tell ya, as a husband of some 50+ years…I’ve been tempted to pull a stunt or two like this……but I never had the nerve.

If I were Flo, the “Bobbies” would be hauling me out of the house in handcuffs by now, ‘cuz I would have just committed murder!

Lonewolf that would be funny then Andy would get more exercise then ever. I think Flo is not feeling to good. But like me I have to go to, only mine is pt only, work regardless. Only fever will prevent and keep me home and that doesn’t happen.

If I were in Flo’s shoes, I would kick the couch, hit Andy’scap at his head, or slap behind his head to wake him up fast.

I think that Flo had something on her nose because she got dirty mark on her nose while she worked. I don’t think she looks sick with something on her nose like a cold. The way she did was taking her gloves off from her hands and pulling her scarf off from her head.

The solution is simple, Flo….Don’t ever come home from work again.

Hummm, 2 by 4 may be, not a baseball bat, a cricket bat, but Andy’s snooker Que would be poetic.

    Somebody call Rumpole.

Wildmustang1262, you are right. That’s dirt on her nose symbolizing that she had her “nose to the grindstone”
