the view from the Canadian side is claimed to be more picturesque as the top of the gorge on that side faces the two cataracts (for the most part). on the American side, you look along the gorge toward the falls, which is why (i think) they had (i don’t know if it’s still there) a walk out towards the middle of the gorge to allow a better view. they also had a walkway nearer to the bottom of the gorge leading towards the American Falls which might also still be there. i haven’t visited in years.

Well, Niagara Falls is on the Canadian side of the border, so the beer may be a bit cheaper there, especially if using the coin of the realm.

Niagara Falls is only a couple hours from us and I’d rather Andy stayed further away.

Andy know about Niagara Falls I’am amazed since it doesn’t involve his favorite couch, beer, pool or sleep. I thought the noise would keep him up.

oooooh, very snazy there, Susan001.
I’ve been to the Falls… just not on the Canadian side, though.

Niagara is in New York, the Horseshoe Falls are in Canada.
As far as having Andy & Flo come here, I would bend down beside the rented couch and shake Andy’s hand, then give Flo a sympathetic hug.
