In this case the plural is the correct grammatical form.
That misses the point of the joke, though. The banker thinks it’s funny that Andy refers to “savings,” when Andy apparently has made only one deposit in his entire banking history (and has probably made more withdrawals than Flo has made deposits!) Hence, to the banker, Andy doesn’t have a “Savings” account; he just has a “Saving” account that is beyond being “saved.”
Flo would know what’s in the savings account and she should leave Andy’s name off or have a provision he can’t take money out for drinking, racing, or betting.
Andy won’t cut back on drinking and put the money in savings.

Andy doesn’t look amused. Is it his or Flo’s savings anyhow?

It’s Flo’s, and she ought to see to it he can’t make any withdrawals.
