Ninmas, I’m beginning to wonder if it’s really intended as a joke or a call for help. If you need to talk, let me know, or somebody. We can find someone for you to talk to.

Poor Flo. with her eyes closed she says what she’s sure her mum wants to hear knowing full well wanting the recipe is the furthest thing from her mind. Andy on the other hand knows his bride well enough so as to be able to say those things that Flo would like to be able to say but won’t. That kind of love don’t happen everyday. Bless you Andy!

Andy… Now that you didn’t eat and your tummy tells you it’s empty. Better head to the pub for a few pints and a relaxing game of darts…

Andy evidently showed good manners throughout the meal.

Fortunately, when out of earshot of his mother-in-law, Andy can say what is on his mind. Flo on the other hand, must be used to Mum’s “home cooking”. She seems to consume whatever is placed in front of her with relish.

Perhaps Andy’s constructive criticism will aid Flo in honing her culinary skills at home. Such criticism is sometimes difficult to accept, but in the long run will be beneficial.

Flo and Andy already ate the meals at Flo’s mum’s home. Andy didn’t like Mum’s cooking so he had to eat the lousy meals he never liked. Too bad! But Andy can survive anyway.

A least he got off the couch to go.
