Normally, Andy does. He has Flo do it.

He was drunk,seeing double, and trying to hit a moving target.

He needs to demonstrate his incompetence, now & then, to avoid anyone wanting him to do anything.

This is why Andy doesn’t work.

Andy Capp lifted a finger to help Flo? Hell has frozen over.

Flo, my all knowing other put a lock on the tool drawer.

Having done this once, I can tell you the pain is excruciating. And the treatment isn’t much better. You have to make a hole in the fingernail to let the blood out. In my case, an old school carpenter heated a finish nail until it was white hot and melted a hole that allowed the blood to shoot out. Tons of fun!

Andy actually was trying to help Flo. Will wonders never cease?

Owwwwwwwwwwww! That’s got to hurt! Flo should have done it. She should have said " Move Over, I don’t want you to break your wrist by lifting your arm up"

That’s “old” school carpenter, meaning an old guy who’s done this a few hundred times. Plus, white hot nail defeats any bacteria or virus.

… Put that thumb on ice immediately! Might I suggest rapping it around a cold Very cold beer. Despite most beer is served at near room temperature in England. It can’t hurt and we all know the beer will help.

I don’t know, just seems like making matters worse is more of an effort to never do anything else.

He said a few strips back that he has workaphobia.

Poor Andy how will you life up your beer.

Just because he “knows the best way” doesn’t mean he can actually do it.

An excuse not to do anything for the next several weeks. Probably won’t affect his being able to grip a glass at the pub.

…..4. Put up with Flo!

He knows the best way, he just can’t do it. Smashed my left middle finger in a display cabinet with a sliding door. The doctor took a scalpel and gradually shaved down the nail until the gush. Didn’t feel even the last cut because the nerves were exhausted. Still have a spot on that nail where it doesn’t touch the skin underneath, after 42 years.

And she believed him??
