@Number SixUsually I agree with you (one of the few times I disagree is about Danny Kaye!) but this time I have to say I liked the last panel. Maybe I just hunger for some action in the art, instead of characters frozen in place. Far too often, characters in the modern “Andy” seem to be sitting around even when they’re out walking somewhere! So some dynamic art is a very welcome surprise. I do agree that Smythe would’ve done this one (and all of them!) much better, but rightly or wrongly I feel that he would have illustrated the actual action. (Mort Walker once wrote that a comics editor told him: “If it’s funny without the pictures, you’re a writer.” Then again, Charles Schulz wrote: “I wasn’t a good enough artist to be an artist, or a good enough writer to be a writer, so I became a cartoonist.”)

Make yer own cards ! In that case you need to “Flickr” those lights ! Free, with one Terabyte of storage. I load the images now without reducing file size first. Your cards will be a real treat when they finally get here !-You’ll hafta see me up close to find that out !-On that I agree, and rich people who could afford to travel all over the map don’t read comics. -That and when people link it, it is a pain in the bum. Inshadowz, who I rarely see in comics these days, is on it and mentioned it at the now defunct Pib group. -I reck’n they are, if you like ‘em !-Calling computer tech support doesn’t count ! Oh ! You meant an actual everyday person. -Glad you got to see your guys !This little subdivision I live near does not have street lights and is fun to walk around in very late; something i have not done in ages. -Some sun and pleasant enough, but not toasty.-Trippy Thursday, comin’ round !__________________________________________________
All I do to make cards on Microsoft Paint is use 2 rectangle shapes to make a frame, I make a text box to write my message in and I grab a few pictures from Google Images to make it look pretty and I use the ‘Fill Bucket’ to colour the frame. A computer program which was ideal for making cards was Microsoft Publisher. Loved using that.-I never cry if I can help it.-I looked at Inshadowz profile and he last commented 2 days ago on Pearls Before Swine. So he has been around but you just haven’t been in the same places.-I love the Shrek films because they have fantastic, realistic animation are quite funny as well!-Yes! That’s exactly what I meant.-Scooter is looking old now… If the horse actually is Scooter of course but I’m assuming it is. He has big beady eyes. He lets me pat his nose slightly longer than the other horses do.-So you’re not scared of the dark either? I love the dark.-Happy Thurstday to you! Countdown to Finally Friday: 1 day
I refuse to go into a pub that has bouncers on the door. Never necessary in my youth..A lot of people, when confronted with “security” at a local pub take their attitude as offensive.

I would hate to be at that pub… even if I were the designated driver.
