It’s nice that “Andy” is trying out new characters and concepts—“Andy Capp” always had very few characters compared to most strips. But the problem is that Guitar Bob is a failure, and so is Trivia Quiz night. Big Betty is never seen (nor do we want to see her, nor Flo’s Mum, either), but occasionally talked about, and those jokes are funny sometimes. The gym trainer is probably too new to judge fairly, but so far I’m not impressed.

Could I ask, that commenters stick to the strip. Please refrain from posting silly ‘jokes’ and irrelevant topics. The comments have become infested with trolls posting about snake maintenance, custard recipes, and weather chat. In defence of Bruce Mackenzie, who is simply trying to protect the decent folk who simply wish to enjoy a discussion of our favourite comic.
