Reminds me of the US government film they showed to us school kids in the 50s and 60s called Duck and Cover. In case of nuclear attack, we were supposed to duck under our school desks and cover our exposed flesh with our hands. They made some really great furniture back in the day! :-)

I hope Andy didn’t cause any of that trouble at the Dog And Duck and left the scene as to not get caught by Alan.

Good morning, fellow Cappers! Shout out to Aficionado!
I do believe this is the first time this strip has shown a cloud in the sky at night…anyhoo, funny gag!
As for the name “Dog and Duck”, it’s a popular name for a pub, not just here in England—there are several in America as well.

Sounds like it was a great party. Probably the only time in his life Andy ever wished he was a policeman.

There’s a “Dog and Duck” pub in Austin who sponsors the British comedies on PBS. Coincidence?

Sounds like one of those wild parties my neighbors used to throw. (Thankfully, they’ve stopped that.)
