I know we can’t expect perfect realism in “Andy Capp” (after all, he fought in WW II yet all these years later is so completely healthy that he can drink, play soccer, fall in canals, get into other fights even not counting WW II…….), but come on! Jack was traditionally portrayed as a fairly canny operator. He would’ve tossed Bob out on his guitar a long time ago.

@ELDO.
Your choice of strip reminds me of a gag about a couple in bed lying awake listening to next door’s dog barking.
Eventually the husband jumps up announcing he’s had enough and returns 10 mins later.
“What did you do?”, asks his wife. The husband replies smugly, “l put next door’s dog in our back yard to see how they like it!”

Has anybody had a pint of Guinness today?
I also have some Irish roots. Only 8% though.
May you all have the Luck O’ The Irish forever!
