Country Roads by John Denver is one of those timeless classics. A few years back it came on my playlist and my sons friends asked to hear it again. Andy’s version on the other hand probably leaves something to be desired
Maybe it seems strange for a proud native of the Colonies to say this, but it kind of bugs me when Andy sings (or tries to sing) American songs. Probably just some kind of personal quirk, like me wishing modern technology like cell phones and the internet would be kept out of Andy Capp completely.
I love classical music. Somebody who I used to talk to online thought classical music was pointless because there was no singing. If there was singing it would be called a “song” and not just “music”
I am aware that there can be choir singing in classical music though. Which is very nice.

Well, you somehow cannot get any classical than John Denver (or the Hawaiianized cover by Israel Kamakawiwoʻole).

I always thought water music was when you cut one in the bathtub. Apparently, I was misinformed.

Don’t worry, the canal is just ahead. Andy’s beer music is about to become water music. Glub!

Does Andy even know where West Virginia is? Other than “west”, I mean.
And is Flo a “mountain mama”?

I thought this was a set for Andy being in the canal.

I like this dialog better:
“Do you know where you are, Mr. Capp?”
“Of course I do Officer – I’m right here!”

Classical music is quite nice. What I really like though, is jazz. (To be honest, I like any music that sounds good.)
