    The vicar is such an inspirational fellow. Just not the way he would like.

    @Number Three Today’s strip IS funny but it’s a repeat , the meddling Vicar’s pontification has got our HERO Mr Andrew Capp pondering and ended with Andy betting on a devil theme named nag :o) ,my avatar is a cartoon of a kid going appeal to his grandma to cancel his time out ,we would never interfere if our grand kids were punished because then our sons would stop coming to our home with their kid , were you ever given time outs? how was your day? ours should be vey busy but calm I hope , it’s stopped raining and Bella is back to normal :o) welcome back and keep safe pal

    I put all my money on the little gray mare—but Stewball came in first (BTW, Stewball was a racehorse).

    It takes an unbelievable amount of faith for the vicar to even look in Capp’s direction, much less to think he’ll ever change him.

    Andy is definitely NOT doing the work of the devil. He never does work at all.

    Are there bookies who take bets on which horse finishes last?

    Vicar, if it weren’t for the Devil you’d be out of a job.

    It’s the Vicars job Susan. Besides it’s God’s will that none perish. Sadly most will.

    Watch out it’s running with “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” in the same race.

    @Afficionado

    No, I don’t recall getting time outs. I was a pretty well behaved kid. However if I had a sibling (which I do but I’ve never met him) then they would probably be the naughty one. Haha.

    My day was great.

    Love to Bella.

    If he loses he won’t be spending the money at the pub, well done Vicar.

    With Andy’s luck, that horse will have a devil of a time making it to the finish line.
