    100p make £1, right? It’s going to take a long time to pay that IOU.

    Eddie should have asked Andy what was meant by installments.

    @Number Three Today’s strip IS funny our HERO Mr Andrew Capp paying off a loan of 50 quid at 10 cents a day will take a lot of lifetimes :o) my avatar is a picture of a statement that my computer has an Intel chip inside but an idiot Idiot outside like I am for forgetting how to post our Wedding picture as an Avatar because today is our 52second anniversary as an Avatar, :o{ how was your day? our Manic Monday should be busy but cheerful , we are both in a very good mood no shopping or errands to run , just keep inside the house because it’s windy outside , keep hydrated and wait till this afternoon when the greengrocer van comes up our street , keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady

    Kind of like Wimpy paying back on next Tuesday for a hamburger today.

    Eric must have been new to the neighborhood when he “loaned” Andy money.

    Why would anyone lend him anything, let alone 50 pounds?

    Look at it this way Eddie, in a little less than ten years you’ll get all your money back, unless of course you or Andy croaks first.

    Sorry but this made me want to punch Andy’s face in. What a cheek!

    I rarely use copper myself now.

    @Afficionado

    Hey, Affie.

    Happy 52nd Anniversary to you and Connie! When you figure out how to set it as your avatar (which I’m sure you will) then somebody will enlarge it for you to see the full beauty.

    I’m sad to say that my trip to the city on Saturday was cancelled. We had an absolutely terrible storm here in the UK (Storm Arwen) and the trains had been taken off. I plan to go on 2nd December now which is on a Thursday. Fingers crossed!

    Stay safe, stay well and stay happy, pal. Happy Anniversary again!

    I suppose that’s better than nothing, but still, that’s a new low for Andy.

    On this day in 1972, the video game Pong debuted at Andy Capp’s tavern in Sunnyvale, California.
