When I was in college in the late 70’s I was 6’ 4" and stood head and shoulders above all my friends. I was at a friends wedding and after going through the line to congratulate the bride and groom a couple other friends came up to me and asked if I could see where another friend was. I looked around and spotted him and told them where he was in the crowd. It wasn’t until after they took off that I realized that they’d come to me because I was tall enough to see through the crowd, and I was able to see through the crowd to find the person they were looking for.
