Having worked outside most of the time …… I would keep working even when it showered a little …… however, it never seemed to fail that when I would finally decide to call it quits and gather up everything, then get inside ………. the shower would stop and clear up …. :)
I have always disliked the expression “he doesn’t have the sense to get out of the rain.” Well, as it turns out, I absolutely love the rain… I used to run in it, walk in it, just sit and listen to it…I’ve worked in it, as well. It’s water. I never shrunk (which is good, because if I were any shorter, I’d be a torso on feet!), and if I smelled like a wet dog, I’d dry out, and take a shower, and all was right with the world.
