Nice of Mr. Am to go home like that (all quiet and behind the scene so we never knew it happened). It wouldn’t do for General Grimm to meet Mr. Am, now would it?
Seems like Maeder is squeezing the last drop of suspense out of discovering exactly what’s underground on that hillside out in the Arizona dessert where Grimm small aircraft crashed. There was a ventilation shaft and an entry door.
It’s one week now since Maeder took us to the brink and then switched our focus elsewhere. This reader remains curious as to just what it really is ? If it’s not an abandoned military facility, just what could it be?
Half amused you’re almost tempted to speculate that’s where the Iranians are developing their Atomic Bomb. ;-) Where they would be least suspected, right under the noses of the USA. Or alternatively, a Way Station for illegal immigrants. If not, then lets see the Flying Saucers and those dead (?) off world Aliens.
Wndrwrthg: what ever made you think of Lawrence Welk? That’s about as far from country music as you can get and still be on the same planet (Bobby Burgess in cowboy shirt and hat notwithstanding).
Well I guess a plane crash, search, rescue, all night boozing, and helicopter excursion back to the hatch is RELATIVELY quieter compared to a dinosaur appearing on the ranch. But I wouldn’t call it quiet.
If Gen. Grimm crashed in the Arizona desert how did he get to central New Mexico, which is where the ranch supposedly is, eg? Daddy Warbucks plane wouldn’t of looked in the Arizona desert.

Remember, stay as far away from the fan as you can. The fecal material may impact the rotating vanes at any time now.

Ah Joe, Western music is good, I also like bluegrass such as Flat & Scruggs, Banjo Dan and the Midnight Plow boys (a Vermont group).
Nashville is losing me these days, oh well.
The music is always good if you like it.
