MOTIVE has been provided here, scrappy as it may be, but there’s the next step now for the FBI and Shutter in coming to grips with the Blue Circle.

If there in no progress there, we are at a dead end !

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Blue Circle remained forever as a story line, surfacing every once in a while like the various Spiderman super-villains; if indeed this is the end of the arc. Joe is right, if the man has a job he has an identity and a SS number at the very least. But it may be tough for him to prove that he was in the army if he was in a “black ops” organization within the army; at least in the context of this comic. There is still part of this thread that involved the BC guys trying to recruit Grimm. They do have an opening! And Schuter (sp?) is still on the case! But maybe it’s time to switch to Annie, huh? It’s been a while.

RayC, - I’m sure the Blue Circle will always be there. It’s too “valuable” a body to ever let go. I even get the sense that a few readers even seriously raise their “hackles” every time Maeder “flashes” the BC in the strip.

It’s like Dab Stract, No Face and Piggy Bank over in Dick Tracy. Too valuable ! They’ll NEVER die and are seldom captured (i.e. under Locher and Kilian)
