This strip calls to mind an Annie strip c1960. The Asp had just finished dealing with a bad guy that had kidnapped Annie. An outsider asked Punjab if The Asp had killed the villain. Punjab’s answer has to be one of the greatest comic strip lines of all time. “No, but he’ll walk sideways like a crab for the rest of his life.”
