Ruth says, "Oh, Gene! Paris is so beautiful!" Gene remarks, "Ok, ok! Don't get carried away!" Ruth sadly exclaims, "Everybody tells me not to get carried away!" Disappointed, Ruth says, "I hoped you'd understand!" Gene tries to comfort her, "I'm sorry, Ruth! I think I do! Really!" Gene tries to relate, "Heck! If I didn't say something dumb, I'd never say anything!"
