Still on the beach, Bill tells Arlo, "With my laptop, I can work right here on the beach!" Bill then excitedly informs Arlo, "Then, with a cellular phone, I'm linked to the office net." Arlo watches as Bill works away on the laptop. Bill remarks to Arlo, "I know, I'm a sap!"

Funny — reading this in 2021, I thought that was Gene as a kid in 1996 with a toy laptop and toy cellphone making fun of adults.

He was before his time, in 2024 he would fit right in. Many would call that their office, since they do not have to go into an office anymore.
