Arlo and Janis by Jimmy Johnson for August 28, 1996
Transcript:
Arlo tells Ludwig, "It was all about a mouse and a cat." Arlo pretends to toss an object as he explains, "The big deal was for the mouse to hit the cat with a brick!" Arlo adds, "It's considered the greatest comic strip ever." Ludwig looks a bit lost. Arlo says, "Don't feel bad. Most people didn't understand it!"

I’m with Arlo’s cat…although I did give that comic a good try for about a year.

That’s Cat and a Mouse Arlo, cat gets top billing. After all, it isn’t Jerry and Tom.

“Crazy Cat”, available at Comics Kingdom. Very strange, art by the same guy who drew Archie and Mehitable (not a comic tho, maybe available in book form in your local library).
