An effort to explain….When a light is on, it has constant power and heat going to it, when you turn the light on, the metal filament inside goes from room temp to (insert whatever hot as **** temp it is) in almost an instant, it warps the metal each time, eventually breaking it.Metal shrinks when cold and expands when hot basically.
