My dad and his mate would share mowing the church grounds and graveyard. Dad had to weld the height adjustment, or Ted would mow down to bare roots “so it takes longer to grow back and we don’t have to mow as often”
(it didn’t; it died and had to be constantly reseeded, which added much more work)
