Perhaps 2.4GHz (and 700-800MHz, etc.) RF is addictive; he’d be in withdrawal already. Nothing about the content, or the ‘dead-tree-ware’ book would be just fine.

I finally talked myself into a Kindle in June 2011. After days and days finally finished with the paperback I was reading. Have read over 35 books on the Kindle so far. Haven’t picked up another paper book since. LOVE IT. So many FREE books available to read. I DO think Arlo would enjoy one too. LOL

Or a nook. You can go online with a nook.

Or you could have stuck a paperback in your back pocket and pulled it out without worrying about breaking it when you sat on the branch. I have an iPad and I love iBooks, but the real thing still has its advantages.

Arlo, darlin’, there is this old-fashioned thing known as “a book.”If you have somehow divested yourself of all of these “old fashioned” gadgets in favor of your Kindle, you might hie yourself over to this other “old fashioned” place called “a library.” They have many books there.

Real books all the way! They’re more dependable, longer lasting, off the grid, and in many cases we just read printed texts differently from electronic texts (there have been studies).

I like to read books, and nothing will EVER change that.

I love Kindle, it’s opened up distribution of my books to a whole new audience. I still like selling hard copies, but ebooks are so easy to wrap and mail. Submitted by Michael Herr.

I really enjoy my Kindle (especially all the free books I’m able to download), but there’s still something to be said for the public library - my experience has been that they don’t have to be mutually exclusive.

So, he went out and ‘connected’ with a tree, eh?
