Over the last four years, any interrogative regarding who, what, where, when, why, and how has nearly always been accompanied with the imperative, Google it!And here I am, just another Yahoo. /sightake care, Doctor
I look on weather.com to see what the temp. is outside. Easier than going outside and looking at a thermometer – if there were still one outside. My daughter used to have a hookup that would show outside temp. on her computer (and on a thingie on the wall), but it went on the blink pretty soon. Weather.com also predicts the weather, indicates when showers are coming up, and where. I’m enough of a Luddite to switch to the “classic” map, which doesn’t always jibe with the unclassic map.
I had to teach DH (and his friends) to Google because I was being driven crazy with the amount of stuff I had to Google for them. ex. one of his friends once asked who owns the internet
We thought that the weather here around Joplin was bad last year with the over 100° temperatures and lack of rain during the tornado cleanup. This year seems to be breaking all records in that regard. We do usually have a mini-drought during the summer months, but this makes the second year in a row that we are really looking for relief.

Well here we go months without much rain and have 16 inches in one day, which I don’t want to see again.

Ah … I thought at first it was a photo of a tree in their garden, in very shallow depth of field.

It took me a few seconds to get this one. Like @Casper, I thought it was Lois’ garden.

Abstract art?.I thought it was an abstract art version of a tree limb before I realized it was a rain map. My eyes aren’t what it used to be.
