Jimmy wrote Arlo’s dialogue, and Jimmy drew Robin laughing. Essentially, Jimmy’s laughing at his own joke. ;-)
Or perhaps he’s just decided to start adding visual laugh-tracks.

For some reason, this little vignette from “That Girl” has always stayed with me. Ann asks Don to help her set the table, and tells him to be sure to use the good china. He says, “The good china? How do I know which…” Ann jumps in, “The plates without the chips are the good china. Uh huh… that’s how you tell.” Something about her delivery was just so adorable, I’ve never forgotten it. Especially when I’m doing the same thing.
