They have researched COVID-19 and corona viruses so much that I want to see a little side research and a cure targeted at the common cold.

Oh no. Hope the story line doesn’t go into Janis getting the coronavirus. They are in the high risk age group so this could be serious. Janis and Arlo need each other to be safe and not catch this awful virus.

I have sinus trouble a COPD, always coughing and congested

Work too hard for my age so naturally I have body aches

Age is no fun for digestion, no further comment necessary

I would have to actually get pretty sick before I would know the difference

SOME colds are caused by corona viruses. Others are rhinoviruses, and I think a few others. Something like 50 different viruses that can cause the suite of symptoms known as The Common Cold.

Where would you catch a cold if you’re doing everything not to catch covid-19?

One of my housemates was sent home from work when he coughed repeatedly. He went to a doctor. Luckily, he only has pneumonia.

I’ve read all my usual comics and not one mention of the significance of today being 9/11. Did I miss a memo? What is the problem? Is there some crazy idea it would hurt Biden or help Trump?

There are ways to inhibit all infections…..prevention measures can shorten, and even halt a cold in its tracks!..First if in mouth/throat, nose…gargling for 3 mins with warm sea salt water…also drops of On-Guard immediately when first noticed. There area also herbal remedies that can work by regulating the inflammatory response of the body. Plenty of rest. alternating Steam Baths with very cold water can help flush the cells …lots of real vitamin C…(meaning fresh made). You could also be drinking Chaga Tea ( from a wild harvester) which is proven to reduce, and halt a cytokine storm…..The remedies are already here…the elusive magic pill/shot just gives us the impression that we can eat / drink and breathe as much crap into our bodies that is highly addictive( sugar) gmo’s because they are cheap, and afford us the luxury of over eating, and having food that looks pretty, rather than nutrient based. Plus the cruel raising of livestock so that you can buy meat cheaper…again..so you can over eat….Doctors are trained to help people who are ill,,,much less training on teaching us how to live a healthy lifestyle!

Let’s not take partisanship to new heights today. Man’s inhumanity to man spreads across the ages. We should take this individual tragedy to reflect on how each of us can turn towards our better selves.

We will never forget. And the tragedies we have had over the years, the horrific tsunami, fires, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, and now 2020. We SHOULD try to turn towards our better selves.

A cough like that here on the west coast just means you’re too close to the wildfires. (Vancouver BC, no wildfires for hundreds of miles and we’re the world’s sixth worst city for air pollution today!)

Husband and I both take a bp medication that has a side effect of – yes – coughing. He does not get the side effect, I do. In addition I have a “spot” (meaning location, not discolored area) in my throat that when liquid hits it I cough – especially orange drink and for a while we were alternating between my grape drink & his orange drink, until I found a second large enough pitcher in the house so I could mix and have both flavors in the house all the time. For 6 and half a months now I have to listen to husband panic every time I cough and remind him that I do this constantly any way and then have to take my temperature to make him not go crazy.
