These days, 10 year old girls cry because they just broke up with their boyfriend. When I was freakin' 10, I cried because I missed the morning cartoons.
I used to cry and throw a fit because my brother would get up early on Saturday and turn on Roy Rogers or some other western show and I could not watch the Road Runner or some other NON western cartoon……..didn’t care about boys until I was 15 and didn’t get to date until I was 16.
I am very happy to say that my 10 year old daughter watches cartoons like My Little Pony and plays with dolls. She cries when mean girls in her class pick on her for not having a phone or chemicals in her hair.

I remember having a huge fit because my older brother wanted to watch some ‘stupid’ car race (the Indy 500) when my Bugs Bunny toon was on.

Later when those girls get to the age of 15 they will probably cry and file a complaint if their teacher did not return their affection.

Nowadays the best cartoons come on at a time when even adults should be asleep.
