You are a good example of why I LIKE the “biker crowd”!For myself, I find that I no longer have the time or the energy to try and be honest, considerate, likeable, helpful, kind, etc etc. I’m too exhausted and busy trying to keep up with a REAL life! Been the best thing for me. I’ll just stick with Honest, best as I can. :-)Curious, what kind of bike? Have Dad and Step-Dad who’ve been into Harley and Moto Guzzi (MAJOR Moto Guzzi)..Wanna have one myself, but am alone with 2 small kids. I’m thinking I’ll never be too old, though, and am planning for 2-5 years from now. :-D
Good thought expressed in this comic. Never put much stock in what others told me about anyone. I prefer to form my own opinions based on whatever interactions I have with them.Speaking to other commenters above, I have never ridden a bike. Thought about maybe getting one when I was young (58 now), but a friend at the time was very badly injured when a car pulled out of a parking lot right in front of him and he went over it. He & his GF were months in the hospital, then months of rehab. Scared me out of the idea. But I personally have never had a problem with a biker. Live and let live, the Golden Rule, and all that. Seems to me that all the bikers I’ve ever encountered just wanted to be left to live their lives. If you don’t look for trouble, it won’t look for you. Treat everyone with respect until they prove they don’t deserve any.
